Taylor Swift’s ‘Showgirl’ logs a 15th week at No. 1 after her first full-band show since the Eras Tour
Taylor Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” spent a 15th non-consecutive week atop the Billboard 200, Variety reported Sunday, a day after she gave her first full-band performance since the Eras Tour at the Academy Museum’s 6th Annual Gala in Los Angeles.
The chart: The album earned an additional 87,000 equivalent album units this week, helped by its “Encore” edition, which added four new tracks including the Hot 100 No. 1 “Patient Zero,” Variety reported. “Showgirl” was released in October 2025 and moved 2.7 million copies in its first week; the Encore edition, released Sept. 24, collected 173,000 units in its first week.
The rest of the top 10: Olivia Rodrigo’s “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love” is No. 2, Morgan Wallen’s “I’m the Problem” is No. 3 and Ella Langley’s “Dandelion” is No. 4, Variety reported. Greta Van Fleet earned its fourth top 10 album with “Palace for the People,” which debuts at No. 9.
The gala set: Introduced by Conan O’Brien, Swift played four songs Saturday night: “Blank Space,” “I Knew It, I Knew You” from Pixar’s “Toy Story 5,” her first-ever live performance of “The Fate of Ophelia,” and “Love Story,” Variety reported. Her band included two saxophone players, four singers, a guitarist, a bassist, a keyboard player and a drummer.
Awards season: Variety reported that “The Fate of Ophelia” is expected to be a leading contender for record of the year at the 2027 Grammys, for which voters just received their first ballots, and that “I Knew It, I Knew You” is eligible for the Oscars and entered for the Grammys’ song of the year. Those are contender assessments, not nominations.
