Vote challenges in Israel and California may be turned back before final results

Israeli police and the Central Elections Committee said there is no evidence for Likud’s claim that Arab parties “stole” the election, as Israel’s count neared its end. In California, a federal judge on Wednesday, Oct. 28, rejected the Justice Department’s bid to segregate roughly 20,000 mail-in ballots, ABC News reported. Read together, they may show early challenges to a vote being turned back before results are final, while wider questions stay open.
