Federal agents searched Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Washington-area home early Monday under a judge-approved warrant in an ongoing criminal investigation, the Justice Department said. Omar has not been charged; she called it “an attempt to target political enemies,” NPR and ABC reported. Before Jack Smith’s Sept. 29 Senate hearing, Sen. Chuck Grassley said records made public show “political targeting,” Roll Call reported, noting no court has found wrongdoing by Smith or his prosecutors.
