Spider-Noir, Street Fighter and Verity may show adaptations facing three different judges
Spider-Noir, based on Marvel’s Spider-Man Noir comics, won Best Adaptation at the Harvey Awards, whose winners are selected by comics professionals, Anime News Network noted. Deadline reported about $4 million in Thursday previews for Street Fighter, a Capcom adaptation, and cited a 47% Rotten Tomatoes score. Verity, based on Colleen Hoover’s novel, opened with an estimated $32.6 million and a 33% critics’ score, Boxoffice Pro reported. Together, they may show adaptations facing comics professionals, critics and ticket buyers separately.
