Saudi airport attacks may show the conflict’s costs reaching beyond Saudi Arabia
Saudi authorities said an Oct. 21 attack on Dammam’s airport killed a Saudi national and an Indian resident, Al Jazeera reported, and the US ordered non-emergency government employees and families to leave Saudi Arabia, the BBC reported. Saudi authorities said an Oct. 10 missile strike on Riyadh’s airport killed 12; Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed a U.S. citizen was among them. Read together, they may show the conflict’s costs reaching foreign nationals, other governments and, more loosely, oil prices.
