Perry and Holmes documentaries may show who is on camera shaping the portrait

Netflix’s three-part “The One About Matthew Perry” tells the late Friends actor’s story through his half-sister, close friends and former partners, though none of his Friends castmates were interviewed, Variety reported. A24’s three-hour “You Can See Everything” follows Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in the run-up to her federal prison sentence, Deadline reported. Read together, they may show who is on camera shaping what a documentary portrait can offer.
