Patrick Stewart and Walter Koenig may show Star Trek’s eras remembered together

Patrick Stewart, Capt. Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 86, AP and The Washington Post reported. Walter Koenig, Chekov in the original Star Trek series, died Sunday, Oct. 25, at 90, the BBC and the Los Angeles Times reported. The BBC reported tributes from George Takei to both. Read together, they may show two Star Trek eras remembered side by side, though Stewart’s tributes reached well beyond Star Trek.
