Kathleen Kennedy and Peter Rice may show live events drawing studio veterans

Kathleen Kennedy, the former president of Lucasfilm, has been named head of ceremonies and content for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic Games, replacing Peter Rice, Variety reported. Netflix named Rice, a former chairman of Walt Disney Television, its chief content officer, a job that includes live events. Read together, they may show live events drawing on studio veterans, though live events are only one part of Rice’s Netflix job.
